The Bariatric dental chair should slot into the position occupied by a standard dental chair. Although the unit is about 6 - 8 inches wider than a standard dental chair this rarely presents a problem.

12. Can we use it for Bariatric wheelchair patients?

For both bariatric wheelchair users and all wheelchair users we recommend the diaco® dental chair. The diaco® dental chair is a fully mobile dental platform designed specifically for wheelchair patients and that allows the patient the same access to dental care

Used in over 14 countries the diaco® dental chair allows the patient remains in their own wheelchair at all times, eliminating manual handling and hoisting, whilst enabling the optimal angle for dental care treatment for both patient and clinical team.

Visit their website at www.diacodental.com for the USA or www.diaco.co.uk for the Rest of the World.
